The Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards, in partnership with Kress, celebrate and honor the environmental contributions made by companies and projects within the landscaping sector. These awards highlight innovative initiatives across the UK landscaping industry, encompassing design, construction, product supply, and manufacturing. We are on a quest for inspiring narratives of environmental impact reduction, aiming to create a more sustainable future for our planet. The awards take place at FutureScape 2023, hosted at ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock, E16 1XL.

The Supplier category at the Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards is dedicated to businesses that provide products and services to the landscaping sector. The criteria encompass various aspects, including production processes, supplier selection based on eco-credentials, business goals, and motivating staff to become more sustainably aware. EnviroBuild has secured their nomination through their exceptional contributions to sustainability in these areas.

We're thrilled to share that EnviroBuild has earned its place as a finalist in the Supplier category of the esteemed Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards. These awards recognize the exceptional efforts of businesses providing products and services to the landscaping sector. The criteria encompass various aspects, including production processes, supplier selection based on eco-credentials, business goals, and motivating staff to become more sustainably aware. We're incredibly proud to have secured this nomination, underscoring our exceptional contributions to sustainability in these areas.

We are proud to see our dedicated to setting the stage for sustainability being recognised. Our mission goes beyond offering products; it delves deep into a holistic approach aimed at minimizing environmental impact, fostering sustainability awareness, and making a positive contribution to the planet.

Our commitment extends to utilizing recycled materials, where we go above and beyond industry standards. We employ 90% recycled materials in our composite products, sourced from FSC-certified wood, and our plastic lumber is crafted from 100% recycled material. In addition to using recycled materials, we are dedicated to using 100% renewable energy for our composite products and plastic lumber, resulting in significant reductions in CO2 emissions.

In collaboration with our suppliers, we have taken strides to reduce environmental impact, such as transitioning to renewable energy for our composite decking, cladding, and fencing. This partnership exemplifies our commitment to driving positive change within the industry.

We emphasize minimizing our impact before resorting to offsetting. This approach ensures that our offsetting efforts have a positive impact on the environment. Looking ahead, our sustainability roadmap includes offsetting direct company emissions, expanding office offsetting to include warehouse operations and delivery, and working towards becoming entirely carbon neutral.

In addition to this, our partnership with Rainforest Trust has allowed us to help make a substantial impact, contributing to the conservation of over 270,000 acres of rainforest across 25 countries, equivalent to protecting 61.3 million trees.

Transparency is at the core of our efforts. We've taken an extra step in educating clients on the environmental impact of our products through Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). These documents empower clients to make informed decisions when choosing sustainable options, while also helping us improve our product range by pinpointing areas of the greatest environmental impact.

Our dedication to Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) is a testament to their value in driving sustainability. They may not be perfect, but when used ethically and transparently, they can empower clients and propel the industry toward higher levels of sustainability.
