Teak Raised Decking Patio

The client was looking to update their large traditional lawn garden into a modern, functional oasis. The focal points of the project would be raised platform for a hot tub and a decking seating area connected by a decking pathway. Greensands Landscaping was brought on board to help bring the client vision to life.

Project Breakdown

The project involved redesigning a garden that was previously dominated by an underutilised lawn, with the aim of introducing a contemporary raised hot tub area, a stylish seating space, which would be seamlessly connected by a decking pathway. The redesign also included the addition of a dark grey brick wall along the perimeter and a light grey paved patio. The client sought the perfect decking material to infuse warmth into the design and ensure durability for the hot tub area.

The Solution

The rich brown hue of the teak beautifully contrasted with the light grey paving and dark grey brick wall, enhancing the garden’s visual appeal.

To add visual interest to the raised hot tub decking area, Iroko dark brown bullnose was introduced. EnviroBuild’s long-lasting, slip-resistant decking was ideal for the hot tub area, providing both style and safety. The teak decking colour was seamlessly continued throughout the garden, with the installer laying the boards diagonally in the seating area to create a unique and striking design. The result was a contemporary, low-maintenance outdoor space that perfectly realized the client’s vision.
