Solid-Core Structure
Solid decking boards, like the Frontier range, are composite through and through with no internal chamber structure. This gives each board a denser feel underfoot and full-strength across the entire profile, making it ideal for premium garden projects and high foot-traffic areas.

Frontier composite decking boards are fully encapsulated, or capped, in a protective polymer shell fused to the solid composite core, with an embossed woodgrain finish on the surface.
That capping is what gives Frontier its superior resistance to fading and staining, needing virtually no maintenance.
